I have helped change mindset and steered the conversation from addressing gender as only male/female to including the third gender; from physical disability to including speech, hearing and visual impairment and taking it a step further – into the neurodiverse spectrum, including individuals with ADHD, Autism and Dyslexia... While India does recognize the third gender on official documents, not too many organisations are willing to open their doors and include individuals from the LGBT community… Once again, I have led successful campaigns in providing opportunities for the LGBT community, by conducting sensitization and awareness sessions for managers, supervisors and team members ahead of onboarding these individuals.. These are very sensitive topics and must be handled in the right way...
