I have worked 15-18 hours a day for months on end, especially when I was upskilling myself to better understand how to address a specific task. I have never shied away from reaching out for help and advice... because I realise that success isn’t served on a platter... We need to work really hard to overcome all the challenges and hurdles along the way and this can only happen when you believe in yourself and take ownership of your career... This ‘never say die’ attitude has been the secret ingredient of my success...
I look back with pride over the past decade where I have helped change mindset of leaders and managers to help foster an inclusive workplace environment where individuals from all walks of life are welcomed and able to bring their whole selves to work… In an effort to build equity and inclusion, I conceptualised successful programs to create awareness and sensitize employees to support the LGBT community as well as those with various forms of disability, including the neurodiverse spectrum… I have personally curated various Women’s Leadership Development programs which have empowered hundreds of women over the years, and have even taken groups of hi-potential women for global exposure programs to the US and UK, where they had an opportunity to interact and shadow senior global leaders, thus enhancing cross-cultural awareness.
